It seems like they will be a very important vehicle in not only being a media distribution point (which they will be), but also a very powerful tie-in to the crossover iPod users of the world. If you're gonna drop 300 bones on an Apple branded mp3 player, why not drop 500 on an apple branded pc? I think Apple will soon exploit this connection and dig into microsofts OS monopoly.
